THOMAS AND HAYES NAMED ALL-CCAA WHILE TRESELER AND HAYES EACH NAMED COTY AND FOTY
Thomas has started in 27 of the Gators’ 28 games while averaging 11.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He has dished out a career high 106 assists while just turning the ball over 57 times this season. The junior guard is shooting 46% from the field including 40% from the beyond the arc. He currently is eighth on the Gators’ all-time career list in assists with 177 and is also eighth in three-point field goals made in a career with 72.
Hayes has started in 27 of the Gators’ 28 games while averaging a team high 12.1 points per game and recorded a team leading 48 steals. The freshman guard has dished out 60 assists while averaging 2.7 rebounds per game. Hayes is the first ever Gator to be named the CCAA Freshman of the Year.

CCAA Basketball Championships semi-finals this Friday, March 7th at
SF State finished the regular conference season with an 11-9 record and in a five-way tie for third place. This is the highest ever finish by a Gator men’s basketball team since SF State joined the CCAA during the 1998-99 season..
