Responsibilities: The position is responsible for assisting the head coach in all phases of operating a successful NCAA II women’s soccer program in a competitive conference, the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Primary responsibilities include instruction in the competitive varsity athletic class and the out of season conditioning class; practice and game coaching; recruitment of qualified student-athletes; promotions; and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s
degree is required. Preference will be
given to candidates with previous teaching, coaching, recruiting and/or playing
experience in NCAA women’s soccer.
Salary: Commensurate
with qualifications and experience.

sponsors 11 sports: men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, soccer; men’s
baseball and wrestling; women’s indoor and outdoor track and field and softball. SFSU is a member of the California Collegiate
Athletic Association in all sports except wrestling (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference).
