Shannon Weston
In her first season of cross country ever, Shannon emerged as a consistent top-5 runner for SF State in '06. She placed 26th at the CCAA Championships as the team's third runner. Shannon was an all-around athlete in high school, participating in soccer, basketball, and track. It was soccer that she pursued in college and played on the team before a torn ACL ended her playing days. After an attempted comeback failed in the spring of her junior year, she decided to give cross country a try and began training and preparing for her next sport. Now, after a full year of training and racing, Shannon has developed into a team leader and reliable performer. 2006 XC: 26th CCAA; 74th West.
