This is Virgil's first season as a member of the Gator coaching staff...Last year he was the Gators' co-captain and finished fourth at the RMAC/NCAA Division II West Region2005-06 while recording a 17-16 record: Finished first season asa Gators 27-13 and advanced to the NCAA Division II Nationals..Had 213 points with 60 takedowns and 10 three-point near falls...RMAC Wrestler of the Week and finished third at hte RMAC Championships and was named the Menlo Tournament Most Outstanding Wrestler...Personal: Transferred to SF State from Skyline College in the Fall of 2005..All-American at Skyline...Graduated from George Washington HS in 2002...Four-time city placer, three-time San Francisco City Section champion, three-time state qualifier, and 2001 San Francisco City Section MVP...Son of Donald and Betty Lockettt and brother of Donald (assistant SF State coach), Ben (teammate), and Ali...Majoring in Kinesiology.
