Caroline Tiziani, who has been involved with the SFSU women’s soccer program for eight years, enters her sixth season as an assistant coach for her alma mater.

As a student-athlete for SFSU from 1999-2000, Tiziani emerged as an athletic and tenacious defender anchoring one of the programs’ most successful back lines. Before joining the Gators women’s soccer program, Tiziani palyed her 1997-1998 seasons at Bakersfield College in Bakersfield, California, where she earned All-Conference status.

As a coach, Tiziani has been involved in the programs’ most successful years including earning an NCAA Tournament bid in 2002, the first in the program’s history.

A member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America NSCAA), Tiziani holds an advanced National Coaching License. She is also currently teaching sixth, seventh, and eighth grade Physical Education at Alta Loma Middle School in South San Francisco, California.

Tiziani earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from San Francisco State in 2003 and her California Teaching Credential in 2004. Originally from Bakersfield, California, she currently resides in San Francisco.
